DEBRA GEIGER
Attorney at Law
DEBRA R. GEIGER is an experienced attorney who has practiced in the Savannah area since 2003. She began her law career as an associate with Hunter, Maclean, Exley & Dunn, P.C. in the Real Estate Group and as Associate General Counsel in the Legal Administration Department at Memorial Health, where she provided legal counsel to individuals and businesses, large and small, on various legal matters, including contracts, real estate, estate planning, business formations and business transactions. In addition to law, she is a trained mediator, specializing in general civil matters. A growing interest in litigation and a passion for people, especially those who have been hurt by the negligence of others, ultimately led her to the practice of personal injury law.
Attorney Geiger is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia, as well as the Savannah and Port City Bar Associations. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Carolina, a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law, and a Master of Business Administration from Mercer University, Stetson School of Business and Economics.
She believes in giving back, which is evidenced by her community involvement, including but not limited to service as a Pro Bono Attorney for Georgia Legal Services Program, Girl Scout troop leader, President of the American Association for Paralegal Education and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a public service organization.
Outside of work, Attorney Geiger enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and camping. She also loves to read.
